Hoops for Hope

John Odoom

Hi guys, my name is John Odoom. I'm a physical therapist at Norwalk Hospital. Please help me raise money for an amazing 24-hour fundraiser called Hoops for Hope hosted by my church. We're raising money to help people in Cambodia who suffered a lot in the past. In 1975 and 1979, a brutal communist regime called the Khmer Rouge exterminated an estimated one-and-a-half to two million Cambodians. In the wake of that devasting genocide, visionaries from Japan, Australia, and the United States joined hands to establish the Sihanouk Hospital Center of Hope, a special hospital called the "Angel Hospital" that provides free medical care and trains local doctors.

Our event is happening this Friday, starting at 8 am and going on until the next day at 8 am, at the UMass Lowell Recreation Center. We're trying to reach a goal of $70,000, and we've already raised $51,094.62, but we still need your help to get there.

Your donation, big or small, will make a big difference in the lives of those who need it.
Let's come together and show our kindness and generosity. In Proverbs 11:25, it says "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." Your support will bring hope and healing to people who really need it. Please donate to Hoops for Hope and be a part of something special that will make a lasting impact.
