My name is George Murray, II. I am a recent graduate of the University of New Haven with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. While at the university, I was a part of the men's track and field team where I did triple jump and long jump for four years. In my junior year, I met an amazing girl (my now girlfriend) named Sarah Collins. She informed me of this fundraiser known as Hoops for Hope. As I learned more about it, I wanted nothing more than to be a part of it. However, due to my dedication to the team and the inability to be involved in outside sporting events, I have been unable to participate. However, my time has finally come! It has been a goal of mine to be able to participate in Hoops for Hope not only for the amazing cause that it supports but also for an opportunity to do something I've never done...play basketball without my coach yelling at me for it. However, in order for me to truly be a benefit to the cause, We need your help! Sarah and I have been put on a team to raise $1000.00. Every penny will be of assistance but hopefully we can achieve well over this!
***This money will be going to the Sihanouk Hospital (Provides basic healthcare for people who are unable to pay for it) and HOPE Worldwide (International charity that's mission is to bring hope and change the lives of the world's most poor, sick and suffering)***
Thank you so much, ball is life, and God Bless!
